The Polar ICE Tanka has been through vigilant testing with almost no temperature change in cold water after 5 hours and still keeping your hot water warm after 11hours. Test results shown below:
ICE COLD WATER - starting 5°C - 5 hours later 7°C.
Result - only 2°C rise in 5 hours.
HOT WATER - starting 96°C - 11 hours later 60°C.
Result - only 36°C drop in 11 hours.
Polar ICE is made of solid 304 stainless steel whilst the sports cap and the top of the stainless steel screw cap are made from polypropylene #5 plastic, the ECOtankas are non toxic, non leaching and 100% BPA free. All ECOtanka are designed with a wide neck, making it easier to insert ice cubes. This ECOtanka will not fit into standard drink holder.
Care Instructions:
ECOtankas are very easy to care for, simply wash and rinse as you would your dishes, or place in the dishwasher. Alternatively, baking soda and warm water can be used to cleanse and freshen your bottle. They may be sterilised with boiling water. Please do not place in the freezer.
